Discovery Games 2011, the best yet!!!

Discovery Games were held during week Monday 12 September 2011 until Sunday 18 September 2011.  This years event started with the Bowlers vs coaches bowling match on Monday 12 September 2011. The Dundee Bowlers won the challenge match 27 - 19.

On Wednesday 14 September 2011, for the first time we held an Equestrian Event. There were 24 riders of all abilities and ages, who completed a Handy Pony trial and Stable Management. Dundee City Disability Sport would like to thank the Brae Riding for the Disabled for all their assistance and very willing volunteers who assisted on the day. This event was such a success that it will be included as an annual event for Discovery Games.

Saturday 17 September 2011 saw the Bowls and Boccia take place at DISC, another two successful events held in this superb facility.

Sunday and Table Tennis and Swimming were the final sports to complete a very successful Discovery Games. For pictures from the event please have a look in our gallery.
