Dundee City Disability Sport - Highlights of the year
Dundee City Disability Sport has had a very busy year this year. Our athletes have attended Local Branch events and Scottish Disability Sport Events.
Dundee City Disability Sport has a very unique partnership
with Dundee City Council
Leisure and Communities Department from which the Disability Sports
Officers are based, and I would like to think that the association very much
supports the work of the Disability Sports Officers, whether it be supporting
teams or attending events throughout the year.
Some of the highlights from 2009 - 2010
Darren Burnet coaches Dundee Bowlers

A Scottish International bowler dropped into Douglas Sports Centre to inspire bowlers with a disability from DCDS.
Darren Burnett, who earlier this year was placed 16th in the World Bowls Tour rankings, shared his skills and knowledge with DCDS bowlers.
The visit aimed to spur on existing players to greater things in their chosen sport and encourage new players to get involved.
The bowlers with a disability had a great time learning from Darren and the opportunity to show Darren their own individual Skills.
